Biography
Beginning her professional performance career at 12, Kylene’s first engagements included singing on the soundtrack for a film starring Guy Pearce; recording in Australia’s top music studios; and starring in a major musical for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Kylene has performed as an Actor and Singer on stages as diverse as the Globe Theatre in London to The National Gallery of Victoria. From a Swedish Jazz Club to a Cabaret venue in DUMBO, New York.
While living in Cambridge she also acted for the New York Film School and trained Directors how to work successfully with Actors.
Whether it has been performing at the National Tennis Centre (Rod Laver Arena) in Melbourne for the Prime Minister (whilst live on national television for millions), presenting for ABC Television or Singing at an intimate wedding, her professional approach and adaptability enable her to grace any occasion with charm.
Kylene has danced for production companies at various awards nights, in television commercials and in many Musicals. She starred in a film that won the International Comedy Festival’s Best Film Award and has graced many a theater stage in Melbourne as a professional actor.
Currently Kylene specializes in Acting, Dialect and Vocal coaching while performing functions on request as a Singer and Presenter. She can speak Swedish and sing in various European, Asian and African languages.
